What to Expect at HEAT2026
We are taking learning beyond traditional boundaries with a programme full of unique activities:
- Inside Finnish Schools: Observe all stages of Finnish education and get an introduction to local teacher training.
- Outdoor & Science Education: Embrace Finland’s natural beauty with outdoor learning sessions, a biology workshop alongside local teachers, and interactive visits including Heureka science centre.
- Culture & Connection: Discover the historic Suomenlinna Sea Fortress alongside local 9th graders, followed by a traditional Finnish sauna.
- Practical Takeaways: Conclude your week with a dedicated pedagogical reflection workshop to share insights and turn your new knowledge into actionable classroom strategies.
