Educa School Visit (organized as a part of the Educa fair) is the most practical choice for individuals and small groups. There is no better way of getting a deep overview of Finnish education than a visit to a local school.

Educa School Visits

You can be an education professional or a student, a business person, or a tourist. The only requirement is that you are interested in Finnish education and eager to see how learning occurs in a typical classroom setting. During the visit, you will have time to talk with Finnish teachers and ask about their teaching practices, methods, or challenges during their daily work. The visit also includes the Finnish school lunch – famous for being offered to every student for free.
The school that we will visit during the Educa fair, is a comprehensive school, with grades 1-9, and has students between the ages of 7 and 16.
The visit being organized at the same time as the free Educa Fair and Exhibition, this is a great possibility to make the most of your trip to Finland at a low cost.
Private School Visits

Private school visit includes a half-day visit in the Tallinn metropolitan area with the possibility to observe classes and talk with Estonian teachers. The visit also includes the Estonian school lunch – famous for being offered to every student for free, such as in Finland.
The schedule for the basic visits is:

The visit starts in Tallinn at your hotel. Our guide will pick you up. During the trip you will receive basic information about the Estonian educational system.
9:00
Arriving at school – welcoming words from the school principal or his/her representative. Afterwards visiting different classes.
11:00
Open discussion with the school teachers.

School lunch.
12:00
Bus trip back to your hotel.

End of the school visit.

It is important to have in mind that more than 80% of the costs of a study tour are fixed. This means that the expenses are practically the same for a group of one or thirty persons. Consequently, the size of the group has a huge impact on the price per person and bigger groups get always better deals per person than smaller groups. To have a rough idea of the costs, a study tour with five full day visit program, including school visits, expert lectures, workshops, educational visits, and cultural visits, will cost around 1000 euros per person for a group of 20.
